Purpose

This position is responsible for supporting branches in all aspects of inventory control, analysis and inventory management. Key aspects of this position include placing various vendor stock orders, customer orders, leveling of parts inventory across the Greenmark Equipment network, PO processing, coding, as well as supporting general inventory related questions from all of the branches.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzes purchasing patterns from customer purchasing history and recommend changes to stocking levels
  • Establishes stocking and return policies based on owner group
  • Maximizes use of all appropriate order discount programs
  • Place orders with vendors and stock leveling between branches
  • Coordinates and audits the perpetual or annual physical inventory of all parts and related inventories
  • Other duties as assigned

Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge

  • 3+ year(s) experience in a part sale or purchasing experience or inventory management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to gather information from various sources, interpret patterns and trends to make and execute decisions.
  • Extensive knowledge of parts inventory management principles or inventory purchasing experience
  • Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions
